Clarion Hotels boasts of more than 250 locations worldwide. Its presence extends from the 39 states in the U.S. to over 20 other countries. The hotel chain is owned by lodging franchisor Choice Hotels, formerly known as Quality Courts or Quality International. Its boutique line, Ascend Collection (formerly Clarion Collection), is designed for historical hotels with established local identities.
